Well im think im there,,,,Finally ready to pull the trigger and hit the opt out button.. I cant take another rigged game, im done. Stars has gotten even worse in the last few months. There is no possible way i could be convinced there is no doomswitch and its right on par with the blatantly rigged Full Rigged site...
So my plans right now are to hit the opt out button on both sites at midnight on the 1st....If i cant do it then i have to admit i have a problem and do something about it...@)@)

I was going to try online play. Are there no legit online sites?

Of course there are legit online sites. FullTilt and Pokerstars are monitored for security and randomness constantly. When players complain of a site being "rigged," they are merely focusing on the specific hands where they see bad beats. Since you see so many more hands/hr online, these beats are more frequent, creating an illusion of non-random distribution.

Tim is probably correct......i hope im proven wrong 1 day...
But reality is we'll probably never know 4 sure....i guess 1 of the 3 lawsuits Full Rigged is facing could tell us but they will never see a court room...
If you are about to try online for the 1st time id say go play live poker the night before you play online so u have something real to compare it to...

Talked to a guy last night. I play 1 table at a time and have a "decent" score every 3-4 months. As he pointed out if i played 2 tables id have a score every 2 months and 4 tables it would be once a month...
Once you are at a decent level as far as playing ability the key to making money online is volume....and volume takes a big bankroll, money mgmt and patience....I lack all 3 and an inability to multi table.... hence my inability to cope with the online game...

volume is key! that is exactly right.
As you said - i will play a few tournies a week, so last night i played 3 - i lose AA to AK, KK to KJ and AK to AQ.

So obviously i get annoyed.

But i have friends who play 20 tournies a day - so they see these beats too, but they are in a lot more tournies, and volume is key!

As they said, they have scores each week of 2-5 K, b/c they are playing 50X more tournies than i am.

That being said - they are also spending 500 a day or so on buy-ins, so if you go through a bad streak - you need 25K in your bankroll, but they know sooner or later they are hitting those big tournies (i.e. good friend of mine won 19K, 17K, and 13K in 18 hours in 3 different tournies) - before that he was on a downswing of 25K or so.

If you really want to pklay tournaments, and make money - you need to get lucky in a big one (Sunday Million, etc..) or play a shit to of volume at medium range ones 24+2's on FT, the Fifty-Fifty on FT, and medium range Poker Stars tournies

otherwise variance will catch you, you will hit that downswing that everyone hits (and complains poker is rigged) and if thats your whole bankroll, you are always trying to work back up.
you need money and time, to make money
